The Mallorca 140.6 has been cancelled until further notice by the organising body Kumulus.
In the Mallorca 140.6 of the year 2022, the last edition held to date, the winners were Sweden's Martin Strandlind with a time of 7h37:16 and Spain's Esmeralda Marí, who completed the course in 10h30:55. Both took first place in the long distance category in the men's and women's categories respectively. In the medium distance, the triathletes with the best time were the Belgian Michael Van Cleven with 3h44:30 and the German Alina Würth with 4h19:28.
The Mallorca 140.6 is a triathlon that can be run in two formats: middle and long distance. For the full version, this edition will have 600 places available at a price of 550€.
The half-distance version will share the same circuit as the full version and will have a capacity of 400 seats. The price for this shorter version is 250€ (half distance).
Registration for both versions of the Mallorca 140.6 is now open and available on the website of the organiser Kumulus Active World. Remember that the deadline for registration is 11 September 2022 at 23:59h, if places are not sold out before then.
This competition takes place in the bay of Alcúdia, in the area of Playa de Muro. Just a short distance from our Aparthotel in Puerto de Pollensa, from where you can easily get to the competition.
As we have already told you the date of the Mallorca 140.6 triathlon is the 24th of September in Playa de Muro. The sporting event starts at 08:00 in the morning for those registered as professionals and at 08:10 for the rest of the participants.

Like all "ironman" triathlons, the Mallorca 140.6 consists of three sporting events one after the other: swimming, cycling and running.v
The first is the swimming part with a circuit in the open sea of the bay of Alcudia. In Playa de Muro. The circuit has to be completed once if you have signed up for the half distance version or twice for the full triathlon.
Next comes the cycling part with a race through the north of Mallorca, passing through Platja de Muro, Sa Poble, Búger, Muro, Llubí, Santa Margalida and Can Picafort. The profile of the race is as follows for the full version and consists of two laps with three refreshment points:
The third and last part of the Mallorca 140.6 Triathlon is the running part. This part also takes place in Platja de Muro along a 7km urban circuit with two refreshment posts and an additional waterpoint. To complete the 42Km to be run in the full version, participants must complete 6 laps of the course. In the half-distance version, they will have to complete 3 laps.
Although the triathlon will take place on Saturday 24 September, both Friday and Sunday you can visit other activities that have been organised for the occasion. For example, at the Mallorca 140.6 Expo you will be able to visit different brands and exhibitors with interesting new products from the sports sector.
Finally, whether you have placed well or want to enjoy the event with your fellow runners, we recommend that you attend the prize-giving ceremony on Sunday 25th from 11:00 am.
